BOX-Protect® is the line of modular soundproof boxes designed and manufactured by SILTE to reduce the noise of hydraulic pumps, compressors, ducted fans, electric motors, hydraulic power packs, air handling units, etc.
The frame is made of anodised aluminium up to medium sizes, for larger systems the supporting structure is made of hot-dip galvanised steel.
The panels are removable to allow plant maintenance operations. The standard infill panels are made of electro-galvanised or pre-painted white-grey (Ral 9002) sheet metal insulated with high-density sound-absorbing and sound-insulating materials and acoustic seals on the perimeter. BOX-Protect® provides average sound insulation of up to 15 dB, special constructions with higher performance possible.
The soundproof box is normally installed on the ground with a specific acoustic sealing gasket; for systems installed on walls or perforated gratings, an optional lower sealing kit is available.
BOX-Protect® is made to measure and configured for the specific system to be insulated, which is why it is possible to work on the entire range of systems on the market today.
