What is it?

Acustiko is a modular and versatile noise panel designed to create sound barriers at construction sites. Barriers made of Acustiko® panels do not require foundation work, are extremely simple and quick to install and can be reused several times. The seamless installation system also helps to contain construction site dust, as well as being an effective visual barrier.

Reduces noise

SILTE's Acustiko® noise panels are the ideal solution for reducing noise pollution generated by construction site vehicles and works near residential areas or protected areas. Designed as a construction noise barrier, they are often used in many industrial applications, in public establishments such as bars and discos or for residential installations. The range of Acustiko® panels have soundproofing power indices from Rw=14 dB to Rw 25 dB, laboratory certified according to UNI EN ISO 140-3 2066 and UNI EN ISO 717-1 1997 tests.
The panels have frequency-specific insulation with attenuation down to -38 dB.

Easy to mount

The Acustiko® panel can be installed on any type of support. Specially designed to be installed easily and without specialised personnel, it is available in two versions: in the first version the panel needs a rigid support (fence) to which it can be mounted, in the second version the panel is rigid and can be held upright with common concrete blocks or metal brackets.

Fence-mounted version

In the fence-mounted version, the panel is equipped with eyelets, metal hooks and accessories that allow installation on any type of metal construction site fence, grating, scaffolding or residential fence.

It comes in two types:

• Wall: the latest addition to the range, the panel is thinner and more flexible and, with the same mechanical characteristics, has superior acoustic performance thanks to a specific acoustic slot cut into the panel.
  Dimensions 145 x h 200 cm
• XL: The traditional fence panel with metal hooks and brackets and a thickness of 5 cm.
  Dimensions 180 x h 210 cm

Self-standing version

In the self-standing version, the Acustiko® panel integrates a metal structure that makes it rigid; it only requires anchoring to the ground for installation.

It is produced in a single format:

• Dimensions: 130 x h 210 cm

Modular and versatile

The Acustiko® panel is a modular, flexible element, which thanks to these characteristics can be arranged in several rows to create barriers of greater height. Weighing less than 5 kg/sqm, it is light and easy to handle. Available in different colours, it can be further customised with graphics, branding, lettering or reflective bands. For special requirements, custom-made panels with customised dimensions or characteristics are also possible.

Materials and characteristics

The Acustiko® panel has an outer shell made of reinforced PVC sheet and has a perforated side. On the inside there is a 5 cm thick sound-absorbing mat of high-density polyester fibre, a material that is not affected by moisture, is non-allergenic and mould-resistant, is 100% recyclable and does not degrade over time. All materials used are in fire reaction class (1). The Acustiko® panel is easily cleaned with water and a neutral detergent.

Uses

Acustiko® is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation and is resistant to all weather conditions. It is used in all cases where a reduction in the acoustic impact of activities on sensitive receptors is required.

Typical installations are:

• mobile or temporary noise barriers at construction sites
• noise screens for generator sets or heat pumps
• noise barriers to reduce disturbances caused by public establishments such as bars and discos
• residential noise barriers to increase privacy and acoustic comfort
